Air Traffic Management Networks

A Symposium of BDLI and DGLR
in co-operation with Air Traffic Alliance

12-13 May 2004, Berlin, Germany

Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Bau und Wohnungswesen
Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing
Invalidenstr. 44, 10115 Berlin, 1st Floor, Section C

The future development of civil aviation is strongly connected with the evolution of Air Traffic Management (ATM).
In correspondence with prospected society needs for mobility and transport, air traffic forecasts indicate significant growth potential for the next 15 to 20 years.
The accommodation of future traffic growth requires further progress of the existing ATM system including the development of global air and ground solutions.

The conference addresses political and ministerial decision makers and experts as well as industry executives.

The programme gives an insight into the current status of ATM, the political framework and into the future concepts developed and presented by the leading industry consortia. Focus will also be given to users' views and expectations and finally to the common future of civil commercial aviation.

Relevant stakeholders have sent their speakers including high-ranking representatives from both sides of the Atlantic.
